EMIR Disclosure Requirements

BOCI GCUK as a regulated and authorised firm within the UK is required to comply with EU Regulation No. 648/2012 commonly referred to as EMIR, implemented on the 16th August 2012 which introduced many changes that are covered within our Clearing Disclosure document. Articles 38 and 39 stipulated that a central counterparty and its clearing members shall publicly disclose the prices and fees associated with its services provided including any discounts and rebates and any conditions to be met to benefit from such reductions and levels of protection and the costs associated with the different levels of segregation.

The Clearing Member Disclosure document is designed to help assist existing and prospective customers gain a better understanding of the protections and costs associated with different levels of segregation.  The costs schedule and explanation of rebates and discounts is currently being finalised and should be published shortly.
